Into the Digital Dimension — Thoughts on Cyberspace, Augmented Reality, and Mind-Machine Interface Technology

From within the chaos of world events, There’s one place where one can turn to feel connected. The internet is a realm of diverse cultural dimensions filled with multitudes of varying communities, memes, trends, rabbit holes, and movements. It’s a vast ocean of interweaving information waves; the dynamics of cultural flux appear like shifting tides. The collectivity resides within the dynamics of the overarching cultural mind. The noosphere in some sense a reflection of every individual, and every individual a reflection of the noosphere.

Cyberspace is a realm beyond three-dimensional space and time. A space dreamed into existence through the collective contribution and creativity of human kind through the ages. A world not bound by ordinary physical constraints. Cyberspace vibrates with the music of the collective mind. Each individual creative advance defining the leading edge of organized collective understanding.

In a time of social distancing, digital communities have become our primary social gathering structure. The boundaries of physical separation have dissolved. Platforms like Discord, Youtube, TikTok, Medium, Reddit, Zoom, and others have began to operate as the primary environments through which social conversations take place.
